The Setup Equipment Template Menu allows you to assign Tasking Templates to Asset Types. It also allows you to edit or create the general tasking lists that will appear on Maintenance Proposals for specific asset types when they have been added to that proposal's Asset Inventory.

Navigating to the Setup Equipment Template

  1. Click the wheel icon on the top right of the page.
    • This will open a System Settings page allowing you to access all sub-menus.
  2. Click the Maintenance Mgmt button on the Nav Bar.
  3. Click Setup Equipment Template.

Tasking Template Group

This feature allows you to assign Tasking Templates to Asset Types. These Tasking Templates can be set up and edited in the Task Master Menu.

To assign a Tasking Template to an Asset Type:

  1. Click to select the drop-down menu on the relevant asset type.
  2. Select the Task Template group.
  3. Click Save when done.

When an asset of this type is added to the Asset Inventory of a Maintenance Proposal and the associated Maintenance Job has been scheduled on the Tasking Mgmt Menu, then this template will be used for that asset when performing an inspection as a Tech on NorthBoundary Mobile App or the Manage Schedules Menu.

 

Proposal General Tasking List

This feature allows you to edit or create the general tasking lists that will appear on Maintenance Proposals for specific asset types when they have been added to that proposal's Asset Inventory.

Editing Existing Proposal General Tasking List

  1. You will see an Edit button if a Proposal General Tasking List already exists for a specific Asset Type. Click Edit.
  2. This will open the Proposal General Tasking List Menu. Make any edits you like to the Tasking List.

  3. Click Save when done.

Create a New Proposal General Tasking List

  1. If a Proposal General Tasking List does not exist for a specific Asset Type, you will see a New button. Click New.
  2. This will open the Proposal General Tasking List Menu. Use the editor to write the Tasking List. So your proposals appear the same for all asset types, we recommend you follow the Default Proposal General Tasking List Format Style Guide.
  3. Click Save when done.
