Setting up the SalesForce API Connection

Important Note: NorthBoundary is now SalesManager. SalesForce customers can be imported into SalesManager, formerly known as NorthBoundary, through the SalesForce Customer Import. This tool will walk through how to set up the connection and import customers.


Setting up SalesForce Security Token in SalesManager

  1. Click on your profile icon.
  2. Click the Profile button.
  3. Click the Salesforce API button.
  4. Enter the Security Token.
  5. Click Test.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Once testing is complete, click Close.

Importing SalesForce Customers through Customer Mgmt

  1. In the sidebar, click the Customer Mgmt tab.
  2. Click on the Import/Export dropdown arrow.
  3. Click on Import Salesforce Customers.
  4. Enter a customer's name to import.
  5. Click on the Search button.
  6. Click the Import button.
