Using and Customizing Opportunity Labels

In SalesManager, formerly known as NorthBoundary, Opportunity Labels can help provide a more streamlined view of what may be needed for an Opportunity or what status the Opportunity is in.

This article will cover:

How to Find Opportunity Labels

  1. In the sidebar, click the Opportunities tab.
  2. Click the Card View button.
  3. You can now view the opportunity labels on each individual opportunity card.
    Note: Hovering over each label will display a popup with the label description.

Modifying Labels on an Opportunity

  1. Click the Opportunity Name on the desired Opportunity card.
  2. Click the Labels tab to see your list of existing labels.
  3. Click the checkbox for each label you'd like to apply to the Opportunity.
  4. Click Save.

Creating a New Opportunity Label

  1. Click the Settings button.
  2. Within the Opportunities section, click the Opportunity Labels option.
  3. Enter a Label Name.
  4. Select a color for the label.
  5. Click Save.

Updating an Existing Opportunity Label

  1. Click the Settings button.
  2. Within the Opportunities section, click the Opportunity Labels option.
  3. Click on the name of the existing label in the LABEL NAME section.
  4. Enter a Label Name.
  5. Select a color for the label.
  6. Click Save.
